I was
born in the little town of Haparanda near the polar circle in Sweden.
Since moving to the Costa del Sol I have chosen to dedicate an ever increasing part of my life to painting and studying art.
For me, art is a way of communicating creatively and a way to express individuality.
The earliest known written signs, the grotto paintings to today's
modern art are great sources of inspiration to me,
but looking at everyday items and nature fuels my fantasy and also
give me plenty of material to work with.
I have found my medium in oil paint, which suits my temperament well.
I also appreciate the shiny finish and the depth the oil colours
give.
I find it very stimulating to let the ideas take shape and it is
a pleasant challenge to capture and transfer the images
in my mind to the canvas and to get the colours to sing and the composition
to work out.
In my paintings I try to translate feelings into colour and form
with a twist of humor.
